Growing is a big word in the Bible. These children at a Project 24 Bible club are working to grow in the Word.
1 Peter 2:1-25 ESV /
So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like
newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into
salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, a
living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you
yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy
priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:18 ESV /
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be
the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is
the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every
joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body
grow so that it builds itself up in love.
We are to grow into the stature of Christ who is our head. These young people are taught the Small Catechism and receive spiritual care and an education. Project 24 seeks to give them a place to stay while at school and we need your help.
I also pray the little guy in the center grows into his shoes.
