These are a few of the folks that participated in the recognition Sunday for Evelyn’s years of service. We would be remiss if we did not mention the fact that the North Dakota District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod took this ministry on as a corporate churchly act. Others have wanted to come in and do work at the Chapel but they have left when told that the salary and benefits of our workers were paid by our churches in North Dakota as a part of our mission budget. The Roman Catholics and the LCMS have been involved since the beginning and it is commendable act of witness and mercy and life together.
Thanks to Bill Sharpe the District business manager for being there and helping us celebrate. Thanks to President Baneck for his kind words and to the whole District for the recognition clock. All is much appreciated.
