We are happy to announce a new program for our Project 24 students. This last year was the first year that we graduated students from high school. Our partner church, the ELCK, saw a need for these high school students to continue with their Bible studies before entering college in the fall. It was proposed that their very own seminary in western Kenya, Neema Lutheran College, offer a four month Bible program for these students. During the months of January through April, these students will engage in courses that include: introduction to the Bible, Luther’s Small Catechism, Lutheran Worship as well as others. This is a wonderful time for the students to learn more about the Lutheran doctrine and be encouraged in their own walk with God. We hope that with this exposure to the seminary, that a few of the students may continue on and become church workers, whether it be through the seminary program or the deaconess program. Please continue to keep this new program in your prayers as we hope that this will continue to grow God’s church here in Kenya.
