I got this from former LWML National President Kay. Read it, learn it and inwardly digest it.
I believe the mercy conference this Saturday in Minot will be wonderful!
The entire agenda is amazing. There are afternoon breakout sessions:
1. Emergency Service Chaplains
2. Orphan Grain Train
3. Lutheran Church Charities Comfort Dogs
4. ND District LCMS Disaster
5. Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention
6. DBGR Therapeutic Riding Program
7. Dakota Memorial School
The keynote speaker is Rev. John Fale, *Director of the LCMS Office of
International Mission, *“Mercy Care Throughout the World and at Our Back
Door”. Pastor Fale is a great speaker and an amazing man of God. I know you
will be blessed by his presentation.
What a line up! Pastor Fale – the great breakout sessions –
including the Comfort Dogs! The day starts with registration at 8:30 a.m. –
session starts at 9:15 a.m. at Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, Minot.
The presenters are offering a last minute registration of $50/couple or $35/person. The Microtel Inn and Suites is offering a $65/night room (must tell them you are in Minot for the Mercy Conference).
Jonathan and I are looking forward to this conference!
