Edna Sangrait passed away this week. Edna liked my CD’s especially the more country western, blue grassy styles. Edna spent a lot of time making towels and sewing pictures on them ( I don’t know what you call that particular talent but the towels are pretty cool) and later in life she became a real hockey fan. Her husband Ray passed away in 1997. He was ubiquitous around the church and put a privacy fence around the parsonage patio. He gave me one of the great lines that I have used thousands of times and even used in sermons. I asked how long it would take to put the fence up and he said “a week”. I asked, “how long if I help”? He said, “two weeks”.
Here is her obit- Edna J. Sangrait, age 76 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.
