Christmas at All Faiths Chapel
There was a Christmas program at All Faiths Chapel. It was offered by staff and some of the clients and it was very well done. It has even gone on the road to nursing homes around the area. It was simple yet profound and that got me to thinking of that first Christmas. How simple was that? – first preacher, an angel. first congregation, shepherds. First church, a Judean field. First offering, a baby in a manger. So here is a little simple song I wrote called “First Christmas”. My simple prayer is that the peace of that Christ Child, bought by His suffering and death and resurrection be yours in the days and weeks ahead.
