Dear brothers in Christ.
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. God
is to us a God of deliverances, especially from death.” Psalm 68:19-20
Blessings upon your day as you begin it with reassurances that our Lord Jesus bears
your burdens this day and He will deliver you-especially if your body dies-YOU will
not. So it will be a great day!
I am pleased to note that we have finally made a decision on the naming of the child
care program through International Mission that is connected to the Project 24 sites
in Kenya: Christ’s Care for Children: Kenya. The project name conveys clearly that
it is Jesus who is caring for them through our vocational service.
Gary Thies, at Mission Central, and other Mission Advancement staff are coordinating
efforts to tell this wonderful story of care and compassion for children and
inviting the prayers and gifts of those who wish to support this project. As you
know, John Kissinger and Pr Trump are tracking operations and expenses on their end.
Dennis Fangmann is tracking with Mission Advancement and Accounting on the OIM end.
I wish to thank all of you and the faithful souls in your districts for your
perseverance and encouragement over the years. Through it all you never lost sight
of caring for children, ensuring that they have safe housing, food, education, and
especially that they learn of the life and salvation that God gives in Jesus and
have a church community. May our Lord bless you ten-fold for your kindness.
I invite your continued prayers for Pr Trump and Mr. Kissinger in their ongoing
leadership and management; for the children who receive care; and for those who work
in these centers. May our Lord bless these efforts so that His will may be done
among us.
