One of our missionaries related a story of an offering from Hong Kong sent to Thailand to a statue of Buddha praying he would make Covid go away. Well he didn’t and it hasn’t. Notice the lack of masks in an Asian country where masks are ubiquitous. There is a story in here somewhere. Maybe an addition to Psalm 50 – For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. The eggs of all the chickens are mine as well and all the omelettes as well.
