North Dakota Orphan Grain Train Seeks Your Help. They have been a powerful force for mercy here in the States and around the world – check this out and give it prayerful consideration.
Over the past twenty plus years, the members of the North Dakota District LCMS and the ND District LWML have been such great supporters of the Orphan Grain Train – North Dakota Branch. Now as we move forward, I find that my age is taking its toll on my health. What we need are your ideas on who may assist or fill my shoes, even if this means finding a new location – possibly Jamestown, Bismarck or another location in the central part of the State. It would be important that such a person be a member of an LCMS congregation.
Our present location is OK; however, inconvenient, being on the far northern part of the state. It is a long distance to truck our items to the home office in Norfolk, Nebraska. Whether it does or does not remain in Bottineau, we do have a bus, pickup, enclosed trailer, forklift, pallet racks and pallet jack. We always seem to be blessed with the funds to fill our needs. We pray that the Lord will bless us with a person or persons with a heart and passion for the needy.
